9 New romance book releases not to miss this December | 2022

It is December so it is time to share the 9 new romance book releases you should not miss this month. I have to be honest, there aren’t that many new romance books that I really want to read this month. This time this list is pretty short. But maybe that is a good thing for me because I still have many Christmas romance books I want to read. So I can finally make some time to read a few of those.

9 New romance book releases not to miss this December

Sneaking around with the player – Rebecca Jenshak
It was supposed to be a quick conversation with a cute boy at the airport while I dodged my ex and his new girlfriend. We weren’t supposed to trade numbers. He wasn’t supposed to be a football player. And I definitely wasn’t supposed to fall for him since he’s attending a college a thousand miles away. I saw past his jersey. And he saw past my last name. Now it’s semester break, and by some Christmas miracle, he’s going to be close. So close. I want to meet him again, but there’s just one problem. My older brother can’t, under any circumstances, find out I’m dating his rival. | Buy on Amazon

Witcha Gonna Do – Avery Flynn
Could it possibly get any worse than having absolutely no magical abilities when you’re a member of the most powerful family of witches ever? It used to be that I’d say no, but then I keep getting set up on dates with Gil Connolly whose hotness is only matched by his ego. Seriously. I can’t stand him. Even if I also can’t stop thinking about him (specifically kissing him) but we’re going to pretend I never told you that part.
So yeah, my life isn’t the greatest right now, but then it goes straight to the absolute worst hell when I accidentally make my sister’s spell glitch and curse my whole family. And the only person who can help non-magical me break the spell? You guessed it. Gil the super hot jerk. | Buy on Amazon

Well Traveled – Jen DeLuca
A high-powered attorney from a success-oriented family, Louisa “Lulu” Malone lives to work, and everything seems to be going right, until the day she realizes it’s all wrong. Lulu’s cousin Mitch introduced her to the world of Renaissance Faires, and when she spies one at a time just when she needs an escape, she leaps into the welcoming environment of turkey legs, taverns, and tarot readers. The only drawback? Dex MacLean: a guitarist with a killer smile, the Casanova of the Faire… and her traveling companion for the summer.
Dex has never had to work for much in his life, and why should he? Touring with his brothers as The Dueling Kilts is going great, and he always finds a woman at every Faire. But when Lulu proves indifferent to his many plaid charms and a shake-up threatens the fate of the band, Dex must confront something he never has before: his future. | Buy on Amazon

My December balcony Neighbor – Aisling Magie
Every December, Era rents the apartment opposite mine and stays there until the end of the month. At night, he sits on his balcony rails and plays his guitar, and I curl up in my hanging chair, close my eyes and listen, dreaming about the ‘what-ifs’ of my life. He lures me with his mysterious gaze and captivates me with his music, but we’ve never talked. Until one December when I wave at him, and our love story begins.
But he has secrets. And I have dreams.
He has motives, and I’ve thrown caution to the wind.
He is meant to lose me, and I am destined to hate him.
Because ours is a love story doomed from the very beginning. | Buy on Amazon

To get to the other side – Kelly Ohlert
Trixie isn’t exactly sure what she was thinking when she stopped her car in the middle of downtown Chicago, scooped up a chicken struggling to cross the road, and drove off… but she does know that she has to find a new home for herself and her new feathered friend. The landlord at her apartment doesn’t allow pets and has caught Trixie in one too many pet-smuggling attempts in the past.
Bear likes his quiet life with his close-knit family, who own a flower business, but he’s in for a rude awakening when his meddlesome sisters post an ad to rent the spare room in his simple home, without asking his permission. Still, when Trixie responds to the ad, he agrees to let her move in, despite immediate worries about keeping things platonic.  | Buy on Amazon

A dash of Salt and pepper – Kosoko Jackson
Xavier Reynolds is doing less than stellar. He just got dumped, was passed over for a prestigious fellowship, and to top it all off he’s right back home in Harper’s Cove, Maine (population: 9,000). The last thing he wants to do is to work as a prep chef in the kitchen of the hip new restaurant in town, The Wharf. Especially since the hot, single-father chef who owns it can’t delegate to save his life.
Logan O’Hare doesn’t understand Xavier or why every word out of his mouth is dipped in sarcasm. Unfortunately, he has no choice but to hire him—he needs more help in the kitchen, and his tween daughter, Anne, can only mince so many onions. It might be a recipe for disaster, but Logan doesn’t have many options besides Xavier. | Buy on Amazon

It happened one Christmas eve – Jenn McKinlay
Claire Macintosh is about to get engaged to a man she doesn’t love at the holiday gala she is hosting as director of the Museum of Literature. But when the horse and carriage arrive at the gala with the driver dressed as Santa to deliver Claire’s engagement ring, she just can’t go through with it. He is completely unprepared for the events that unfold and finds himself dashing through Central Park with a runaway would-be fiancé. Now the only way to save his story is to broker a deal with Claire Macintosh. In exchange for his help in getting her to her cottage in Maine by Christmas Eve, she’ll grant him an exclusive interview. And it’s going to take a Christmas miracle to find their happily ever after.| Buy on Amazon

A hard day for a hangover – Darynda Jones
Some people greet the day with open arms. Sheriff Sunshine Vicram would rather give it a hearty shove and get back into bed because there’s just too much going on right now. There’s a series of women going missing, and Sunny feels powerless to stop it. There’s her persistent and awesomely-rebellious daughter Auri, who’s out to singlehandedly become Del Sol’s youngest and fiercest investigator. And then there’s a drama with Levi Ravinder—the guy she’s loved and lusted after for years. The guy who might just be her one and only. The guy who comes from a family of disingenuous vipers looking to oust him—and Sunshine—for good. | Buy on Amazon
