Review

I am not a huge fan of car races and Nascar, but I was really in the mood to watch a sitcom. And this was the newest sitcom on Netflix, so I decided to give it a go. I am going, to be honest, that I thought the first two episodes were boring. But maybe that was because I was distracted by a lot of things.

Later this week I decided to watch the rest of the episodes. The episodes are pretty short (20-30 minutes) so it just takes a few hours to watch all of the 10 episodes. But I was starting to like it. The actors are pretty great and pretty funny. It wasn’t like I had to laugh every minute but the jokes were all right. It was exactly what you would expect from a sitcom: from one joke to another.

But I have to say that even though I am not a big fan of car races or just cars in general, I still liked it. I was afraid I wouldn’t like this because it is about cars but it was still fun to watch it. It is about a racing team obviously, but it is not really about racing. It takes place in the garage/ at the office of this racing team and not on the track. And this setting is something I haven’t seen before (aside from the getting together at the pub after a day of work) and I think that is pretty cool too. And apparently, there were a few Nascar cameos. At least, that is what I read on the IMDB page. But if that is the case that is pretty cool. Makes it extra special.

Will there be another season? I am not so sure. Maybe? There wasn’t a huge cliffhanger or anything. But there was a kiss at the end. So I wouldn’t be surprised if there would be another season next year.
