It is almost Christmas and that means I am going to watch a lot of Christmas movies in the next few days. There aren’t a lot of Christmas movies on tv this year, so I probably watch some Netflix movies. Netflix released a lot of new Christmas movies this year. And these are my favorite Christmas movies of 2020.
My favorite Christmas movies of 2020
The Holidate
Okay, not a typical Christmas movie because it just not about bringing someone to the Christmas dinner but also bringing a date for other holidays. But I still liked this movie a lot. I am secretly a big fan of Emma Roberts and I loved her in this movie too. But her holidate wasn’t that bad either. There was chemistry between the two and I really enjoyed watching this. A little bit relatable to everyone who has been asked why they are still single during a Christmas dinner. But I loved the romance story as well. Her best friends become her love interest.
The Princess switch: switched again
Most of the time the first movie is better but not this time because I enjoyed this movie a lot more than the first one. I think adding another princess (a third Vanessa Hudgens role) was genius and she was amazing. Also super confusing when you see three people who all look alike.
Jingle Jangle: A Christmas journey
Okay, this was maybe not my cup of tea but I have to admit that it was a good movie. Production levels are outstanding and the message in this movie was also great. This is the perfect movie to watch with your children. A beautiful musical movie about believing in yourself.
Christmas Chronicles: part 2
Some say that this movie was worse than the first one but I am not so sure about that. I think was just as good as the first one. In this movie ex-elf, Belsnickel is trying to ruin Christmas and everyone is trying to help Santa so Christmas will go on. The elves are cute again, even in the part when they were super angry and violent.
A California Christmas
Like I said in this movie review, it is not a Christmas movie in my opinion. But since Netflix decided it is a Christmas movie, I had to add this one to this list. Because it was a pretty good romance movie. Probably better than most of the other romance movies produced/released by Netflix.
If you prefer watching series, then check out ‘Dash and Lily‘ because the series is amazing!
And of course, there were movies I didn’t like that much. I didn’t really like ‘Midnight at the Magnolia‘ and ‘Operation Christmas drop‘
Which one is your favorite?
