Books I read in February 2020

In the blog post with my goals for February, I mentioned that I wanted to read 8 books in February. Well, all I can say that I failed a little because I only read 4. Reading four books is still good if you compare it to people who don’t read at all but still. I really wanted to read 8 books. Today I am sharing the books I read in February 2020

Red, white and royal blue

So this is a book about the love story between the first son of the United Stated and Prince Henry from England. I really liked the love story part of red, white and royal blue but I have to be honest and say that I didn’t like the political parts. It is just not my cup of tea. I even skipped some parts of it. So I was definitely disappointed about this book because everyone on Instagram was talking about it and loving it. Not the less favorite book I read this month, but I expected so much more from this.

Power of now

The power of now is a non-fiction book by Eckhart Tolle and it is about living in the present moment. We, people, are thinking a lot especially about the past and future but all we have is the NOW. This book was very inspiring and I’ve learned some things from it. Eckhart shared some tricks on how you can break the cycle and try to live in the present moment. Living in the now can really help you to feel truly happy and relaxed. Of course, you still have to put in the work after reading this book. Your thoughts don’t automatically stop after reading this.

Perfect timing

Perfect timing by Jill Mansell was my least favorite book this month. It is not that it was terrible but I just really prefer Jill Mansell’s newer books. Poppy canceled her wedding and moves to London. She wants to find the guy who woke her up on the night before her wedding. But she is also afraid that he will disappoint her. Is he the right guy for her or is somebody else her soulmate?

Would like to meet

Would like to meet was my favorite book this month and I wonder nobody else is talking about this book because it was just perfect. It was cute and I think this book is perfect for people who love romantic movies because they talk about it. Evie is trying to convince Ezra that meet-cutes happen in real life and not just in movies. This book is hilarious, romantic and so much more. I read this in just a few hours because I couldn’t put it down. I think this is definitely going to be one of my favorites this year.

These were the books I read in February 2020. Which books did you read in February?
