At the same time Jack tries to convince Mel that they belong to each other.

Review

I was really looking forward to this. I loved the first season and I was so happy that they announced a second season. Mel has been through a lot (she lost her baby daughter and her husband Mark) and tries to start over in Virgin River, where she meets Jack.

At the end of the first season, Mel decided to go back to Los Angeles and left Jack behind. Charmaine got pregnant and Preacher was trying to find out what secret Paige/Michelle was keeping.

Wes, the ex-husband of Paige, has found them in Virgin River. Paige is scared because she knows what he is capable of. He is pretty violent. And everything goes wrong when he finds her in Virgin River. But luckily Preacher is willing to help.

There is a lot of action in this season. The drugsguys in Virgin River have a big role in this season. And where they grows drugs, there is also a lot of violence and/or murder. Of course, Jack wants to solve this on his own. Which is dangerous.

Recently, I read the first book of the Virgin River series and I realized that season 1 was missing a lot of missing. I thought they left it out on purpose, but a lot those things are happening in the second season. And I didn’t expect that. I thoight, they would follow the second book or something like that. But in this season, they finally introduced Lizzie, in the series she is 19 instead of 14, but at least we are finally to get her know her a little. So I kind of expected Mel would be pregnant at the end of the season, but that didn’t happen. Maybe next season? This season ended with a huge cliffhanger, so I think they are going to film another season.

I bingewatched this season in just one day, but it was definitely worth it. Especially when you are fan of the books by Robyn Carr. I honestly think that this series is one of the best you can find on Netflix. It has everything: action, romance, drama.

So now I am going to wait for season 3.
