Since the beginning of this year, I am trying to read 100 books in one year. Sounds impossible if you have two jobs but I am doing the best thing I can do. But these are the books I read in February.
Every month I give you an update on my reading progress. If you want to get more live updates, follow me on Instagram or Goodreads. I post photos of the books I am reading on my Instagram.
Books I read in February
How do you like me now – Holly Bourne
The first book I finished in February was this one by Holly Bourne. A while ago I read ‘It only happens in the movies‘ by the same author and I really liked that book. It was honest and maybe more realistic since some relationships don’t always work out. After reading this book I realized that Holly Bourne likes to write about the other side of life. Normally, I read a lot of romance books and it always has a happy ending. But Holly Bourne’s book doesn’t have that happy ending. Which is refreshing and good. I have to admit I liked ‘It only happens in the movies’ better than this book, but it was still good.

Riverdale – Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa
I didn’t write a review about this comic book on my blog for a reason. On Goodreads, it says this comic book has 150 pages or something like that. But the edition I bought for just 99 cents had 30 pages or something. I also had the feeling something was missing. Maybe that is the reason why it was so super cheap. Anyway, I don’t think I will ever try to find the full edition of this book. I knew I didn’t like the Riverdale series, but I was hoping I would like the comic books better. But I didn’t.
Breaking the habit of being yourself – Dr. Joe Dispenza
The only non-fiction book I read was by Dr. Joe Dispenza. Every morning I took some time for myself to read a few pages or a chapter. It is really a great way to start the day with a self-help or self-improvement book. This book is about how you can change your habits and your life. For example, normally you see person A and inside you feel angry every time you see this person. This book can help you to change that so you don’t have those feelings anymore. It takes time but you can change the way you feel.

99 days – Katie Cotugno
This is probably the worst book I read this month. I really didn’t like this book for one big reason: this Molly girl cheated on her boyfriend with his brother and now everyone hates her. But you will think she would learn from that mistake but she didn’t and she makes the same mistake basically again. She was so annoying and I wanted to scream. The message gets lost in this book. The message was basically that if a girl cheats, she is a slut but if a boy cheats he is cool and a player. And how ducked up that is.
Love you, love you not – Jo Watson
This was my favorite book I read this month. Last month I read ‘Love to hate you‘ and that was my favorite book I read in January but I think I even liked this book better. I think I have found a new favorite author. Good thing is that she already wrote several books. I am definitely going to read those ones too. Her books are romantic, funny, and awkward but very enjoyable. I couldn’t stop reading.
