Lara Jean and Peter are officially dating now. Last year Kitty sent all of the love letters written by Lara Jean to all of the old crushes. But one person still hasn’t replied to her but one day when Lara Jean is volunteering, John Ambrose is standing in front of her. Is her relationship with Peter good enough to survive the competition?
Review
The second movie is a lot more intense than the first one. In this movie, Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky are fighting with each other about a lot of things. But they promised not to hurt each other. But you can feel the distance between the two. Because Peter is hanging out with Gen again (even though they broke up) and Lara Jean is hanging out with John Ambrose.
I still liked the first movie better than this one. But it is still really good and fun to watch. I love how colorful these movies are. And it isn’t a bad movie but most of the time the second movie is worse than the first one. I had the same thing with the books. The first one is still my favorite.
But Lara Jean loves to keep a secret! She doesn’t tell her own sister Margot about her relationship with Peter and hasn’t told her yet that she had a crush on her ex-boyfriend Josh. And now she is also hiding the fact that she is hanging out with John Ambrose. And at the same time, she is angry with Peter because he is hanging with a different girl (Gen). LJ is pretty jealous.
And yes, even in this movie Kitty is one of my favorites. I just love her character. She needs bigger roles in the future.
