Sweet Tooth

Suddenly people are getting sick and it is a very deadly virus and this virus kills a lot of people. But that is not the only thing that is happening. Because newborns are not just normal babies, but they are born as hybrids: half-human, half-animal. Everyone is accusing them of this virus and they want them dead. Gus is one of those hybrids and he is trying to stay alive.

Review

Oh my! Gus is so freaking cute with those little ears. That is already the first reason why you should watch this series. But there are so many reasons why you should watch this. I literally binge-watched it in one weekend and it was amazing!

The acting is brilliant and loved every single character. I liked Jepp/Big Man, I liked Bear and Wendy/Pigtail. They are all so amazing. And this is story is not predictable at all. There were a few brilliant plot twists, I didn’t see coming at all. This series is getting more and more interesting by the minute. Gus is trying to find his mom after his dad died and he gets help from Big Man/Jepp. But Jepp is also trying to protect him because he thinks that there might be a chance his mom is already dead because of the virus. But the story about his mom is so interesting and it was like a major plot twist, I didn’t see coming.

I also liked the production, because it looks so good on screen. The visuals are great and the story is addictive. I think they all did a great job on this series and I think it is going to be another hit series for Netflix. This will appeal to a lot of people, I also think kids will like this. Although, it isn’t for every kid, because people kill each other too in this series. Definitely recommend this series, but start early in the day because you want to binge-watch it. Yes, it is that good!

Apparently, this series is also based on a book(series), but I’ve seen several people tweeting that this series is nothing like the book(s). So now I am not sure if I still want to read those books. Will I be disappointed if I do?

Okay, I name one thing I didn’t like about this series. It is just way too short and I want to see more. But I am guessing Netflix will make another season because it had an open ending and I still have a lot of questions after watching those 8 episodes. I want to know this is going to end. Also, I think they have to film it really quick and all. The kids are still young and kids grow up very fast sometimes. The kids are still cute but they might become less cute when they grow older. That is the only thing I am worried about.
