About Lost and Found sisters

Quinn Weller looks like she has it all. But one morning changed everything. After almost 30 years, she finds out that was adopted. Her parents never told her. She has to go to Wildstone for more information. That day she finds out that she has a little sister, Tilly.

Now Quinn has to make a decision. Is she going to leave Tilly behind in Wildstone? Or is she going to stay for Tilly and Mick?

My Review

To be honest, I had never heard of Jill Shalvis before. But this year I decided to read more books from unknown (for me) authors. And I think I just found a new awesome author. I really loved this book. I am a sucker for cheesy romantic love stories, but I also loved how the relationship between Tilly and Quinn developed.
In the beginning, Tilly doesn’t want a new sister and she thinks her life sucks. She is probably right because of her mother past away. But it was also Quinn’s mother and Quinn had to find out that her parents have been lying to her for the last 30 years. And taking care of Tilly is also not very easy for Quinn. Tilly reminds her of the 15-year old version of herself. And now she also realises that she was terrible as a kid and she feels sorry for her parents.

And there is Mick, the guy who helped her the first day and saw her having a panic attack. But there is definitely something going on between Quinn and Mick, you can really feel the chemistry. And at first, Quinn says there is nothing going on between her and Mick. But I think she is protecting herself. She lost her sister two years ago in a car crash, just found out that her real mother passed away, her adoptive parents have been lying to her and she has another sister. I think she is protecting herself because she doesn’t want to get hurt again.

It was very easy to read, which I love. And I just couldn’t put it down. It’s been a while since the last time, I couldn’t put my book down. I did some research and I found out that Jill Shalvis wrote over 50 contemporary romance novels. I am definitely going to try another book by her very soon. Because maybe I just picked the right book and her other books suck. You never know. But I think I am going to try to read the rest of the books in this Wildstone series first.
