It is Friday the 13th, which means a lot of people think that this is an unlucky day. Even my mom believes in this. Every time on Friday the 13th, something bad happens to her. A few years ago the fridge died and another year the washing machine decided to stop washing. Me, on the other hand, I consider this day as a lucky day. First of all, it is very funny hearing people talking about Friday the 13th and how this is a stupid day. Second, I don’t believe in superstition. But if you are one of those people who think this day is a bad day. Here is a blog post about how to make Friday the 13th your lucky day.

Mindset

I believe in the law of attraction. If you feel good, you will attract good things, If you feel bad, you will attract bad things. So, if you want to make this day an awesome day, you have to feel good. The best way to do this is by thinking (mostly) positive thoughts and do what feels good to you. I have a great example: I know a person who isn’t a very positive person. This person woke up one day and started her day bad. She hurt her back and from that moment everything went downhill. And instead of changing her state/mood, she started to complain and suddenly her coffee machine wasn’t working anymore. The same applies to think that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. If you think this day is terrible, you send out negative emotions/energy and that is the reason why you attract negative events.

But on the other hand, I know when I feel good I tend to attract nice things. I remember that I was feeling good and it was the first day of spring (I believe) and everything was great. I was just walking outside and suddenly a woman complimented me with my outfit. And another great example is that I wanted to win a book gift card and decided to feel good. And guess what? I won!

So, when you woke up feeling great, continue this day feeling good. If the start of your day wasn’t great, don’t worry. Take a few minutes for yourself (no phones) and breathe. Think about something that you like. It is possible to change your mood even when the first half of your day was rubbish.

Do something fun

Another thing you can do is to plan something. I know this is very last-minute when you are reading this on Friday the 13th. But decide that you are going to the cinema tonight or plan a few hours of me-time. It doesn’t matter what as long as you like doing it.

I like to plan something nice/fun every single day. I wake up and I think about how I can make my day a little bit more special and different than yesterday. If I do the exact same thing every single day, I get bored. And if I plan something fun for the evening, I have something to look forward to and that makes me excited. Which is a great mood for Friday the 13th.

Do you think Friday the 13th is an unlucky day?
