Eat healthy and use self-care each day. Selfcare can mean anything. On some days, it might mean you are going to bed early and reading a book. On other days you want to use a face mask or hot bath. But when you take care of yourself, you will feel better and you will feel more confident.
Exercise
Exercising is good for you for different reasons. It is good for your health, you will be stronger, you will look healthier and you will lose some fat. But when you exercise, your brain also releases feelgood hormones and when you feel good, you will feel more confident too. This does not mean you have to go to the gym every single day for hours. Even a 30-minute walk can make you feel better about yourself.
Use affirmations
Affirmations can be very helpful to change your brain. If you repeat the same thing over and over again, you will start to believe it. So use positive affirmations every morning. Stop saying ‘you’re ugly’ or ‘you’re a bad person’. You are not those things. Use positive affirmations like:

When you decide to do it anyway, you realize it was not so bad at all. Nobody was laughing about you and thought you were weird. So do something different at least once a week. Try new recipes or try to talk to a stranger.
Fake it
When you try this approach, you will likely feel weird at the beginning. That is because you have felt insecure for a long time. Suddenly changing yourself is not easy. It would have been easy, everyone would feel confident and happy by now. It takes time and work. This is something you should do every day. Study how confident people interact, their posture, how they walk and how they behave. And just do the same thing and try to feel it. If you do this every single day, eventually you become it. Fake it until you make it can be a powerful tool. You just have to feel it too and do it every single day.
