Tami is from San Diego and even she is already traveling the world for 5 years, she is not ready to go back yet. But she doesn’t want to let go of Richard yet because she really likes him. So eventually she decides to go with him anyway. But just after a few days Hurricane Raymond hits them really hard.

Now they have to survive and hope that they will find help soon.

Movie review

Okay, holy shit. I did not see that ending coming at all but let’s start with the beginning. The story is based on a true story, which makes it always more shocking. So this movie starts when Tami opens her eyes again after being unconscious. You see her looking for Richard but she can’t find him at first. They were in a huge storm called Raymond and it destroyed the boat.

Tami has to sail to Hawaii to get some help but it takes her 41 days to get there. She completely survived on canned food and fish. Tami was exhausted and hungry. She wanted to give up but at the same time, her mind was telling her not to give up.

And at the same time, you get to see her flashbacks on how their (Tami and Richards) relationship started. You see how they instantly knew that they were made for each other and just after a couple of months they got engaged.

I don’t want to say too much about the ending but I think this is something you have to find out for yourself. All I am going to say is that I did not expect this ending. Even though there were a few clues. It hit me really hard. This movie is definitely a recommendation.

The acting is pretty good, they build up the movie smoothly. It gets more and more intense towards the ending. There was one part that looked fake and that was the part when they were in storm Raymond. The sea looked fake. But besides that, the movie is pretty good. The chemistry was there between the two. And I couldn’t stop watching.

Have you seen this movie yet?
