Review

YES!! Okay, a while ago, I found a new favourite author: Jo Watson. I really like her books and her books make me feel happy and put me in a good mood. After that, I’ve read more romance books and they were all okay, but nothing came close to Jo Watson. But then I read this book and guess what? I loved this book. I am already sure I am going to recommend this book to a lot of people.

It is not just one thing that made me likes this book. It was just everything together. Graeme and Henley are not exactly enemies, but they are competing for the same promotion. Henley thinks Graeme stole her idea a while ago and now she is afraid he has a better chance to get the promotion.

So she tries to avoid him, but on a cruise ship, it is hard to avoid each other. Graeme convinces workaholic Henley to participate in activities with him. Henley is preferred to focus on her work but eventually, she gives in and she starts to have fun and overcome her biggest fear. Henley finally realizes that there is more to life than just working all the time. She realizes she wants to have more time for herself and stop working so many hours. She was basically focused on her job 24/7.

Graeme knows that his time is precious after his mom passed away. He helps Henley to stand up for herself and he let her see that it is okay to have fun too. Graeme is also not the person Henley thought he was. But she is constantly that a person can’t be THAT nice. There must be something he is hiding.
Both of the characters were very likeable. It is very easy to ship these two people together. They would make a cute couple. I loved the humour in this book as well. That is one thing I like about Jo Watson’s books. It is the combination of cuteness and humour. Humour is not overdone in this book. Just funny enough. And you can immediately feel the chemistry between Henly and Graeme.

Definitely, a recommendation if you like romantic comedy books and if you are a fan of Jo Watson’s books. It is very easy to read and you could easily finish this book in one day. It is really hard to put this book down, so I would recommend it to read in a day. This is definitely going to be one of the favourites I’ve read so far.
