If you are a fan of reading blogs and you have a favorite blog that you like to read, you want to know how you can support them. In this blog post, I am giving you a couple of tips on how to support your favorite bloggers. And most of these things don’t cost you money.
It is completely free to leave a comment under a blog post every now and then. If you do leave a comment, make sure that this isn’t a spammy comment. If you only ‘great’ and you also leave a link to your website it looks very spammy. Write a genuine comment.
Here is a tip for other bloggers. I always ask a question at the end of each blog post, so readers have something to comment on.
Follow their blog
There are different ways to follow a blog. You can follow blogs via WordPress dashboard, or use Bloglovin or Feedly. From these three ways, Feedly is my favorite. If you follow a blogger on Bloglovin and you read their post on bloglovin, the view doesn’t count. But if you follow your favorite bloggers on Feedly, they will direct you to the blog and the view WILL count.
Views aren’t everything, but they do matter when it comes to brands if they want to collaborate.
And of course, don’t forget to follow them on other social media platforms as well.
Click on their ads
Of course, bloggers want to earn money with their passion. And there is one way how you can help your favorite bloggers without costing you money. Most of the bloggers have ads on their website. And every time a reader sees or clicks the view, the blogger will get a little bit of money. It depends on how much. Sometimes you can earn 4 dollars per 1000 views or they get 15 cents per click. But it all depends on the demographic and cost per click. But just one click can help them.
If you use an adblocker, think about deleting it. I used to have an adblocker too, but now I also realize that it can help other bloggers and youtubers to earn a little bit more.
Buy their products
Some bloggers create their own products. Most of the time it is an e-book or something. Of course, you don’t have to buy anything if you are not interested but if you are, buy their e-book. You will learn something new from the e-book and they earn money. So it is a win-win situation.
Patreon
There is one other way on how to support your favorite bloggers financially. Again, you don’t have to do this. But some of the bloggers own a Patreon page and you can decide if you want to subscribe. It is a monthly subscription and you can choose how much money. For example a lot of the time, you can already subscribe from 1 or 2 dollars. This is another way of showing love for your favorite blogger.
