Review

I’ve been reading Jill Mansell’s book for a very long time now. I remember at first I thought it was a bit confusing that there were three different stories/storylines. Before that, I just read a lot of books with just one storyline. But eventually, I got used to it. And now it feels pretty ‘normal’ to read three (related) stories at the same time, even though I have a hard time remembering names.

Another thing I have noticed is that Jill’s books are getting better and better. Every time she writes a new one, I like that one better than the one before. So I think you can already guess that this is my new favourite book by Jill Mansell.
There are three storylines in this book (or maybe even more). You have Didi, Layla, Rosa and Red’s stories. I think liked Didi’s the most, but Layla’s story with Harry was also very interesting. Because that was definitely an example of online dating went wrong. There were several red flags, but Layla couldn’t see them because she was in love with Harry. Rosa’s story was cute and beautiful too. Older people who find love (again) is just the next level of cuteness. Red’s story was interesting too, but unfortunately also sad.

Normally, when I write a review I name the things I like and the things I don’t like. But sometimes you read a book and you just can’t mention one bad thing. This was one of those books. You might wonder I didn’t give it a 10 out of 10. That is because I rarely give a book a 10 out of 10 ratings. The book has to be very special and really touching. The bar for a 10 out of 10-star rating is high.

This book is for everyone who likes a good romance book and also likes a little bit of drama. I can always recommend reading Jill Mansell’s books because they are good. I would start with her newest books (this one for example) because I think her newer stuff is just better but the other books are also great.
