Normally I shared my monthly goals here on my blog. But since June I am doing things differently. I decided to share my seasonal goals with you. In my seasonal goals, you can find a couple of fun things I just want to do for fun or things I still have to do. This is my to-do list for Autumn 2020.
I have to admit that I failed a little bit on my to-do list for summer 2020 so it can only go better. Good thing is that it’s not 35 degrees anymore and I can do things now without sweating. But hopefully, I can say that I did all of these things.
To-do list for autumn 2020
Read 10 books
I maybe read 5 books in the last three months. At the beginning of the year, I said I could read 100 books in a year. Well, I am not going to try to reach that goal anymore. I think I could have read 100 books in one year if I just would stop wasting time online. But I didn’t because I wanted to stay updated on the coronavirus in March/April/May.
Try a new vegan recipe
I am going to try to eat more healthy things and of course, vegan doesn’t mean it is always healthy. But in my opinion, it is still healthier than non-vegan food. I am not sure what kind of recipe I am going to try. Maybe I am going to bake something because Autumn is the perfect season for that.
Halloween movie night
We don’t celebrate Halloween here in the Netherlands which is so sad. That means I have to organize my own Halloween party. Not sure yet, if I can have a party or if it is just me. But anyways I am going to watch a couple of scary movies that night and I can’t wait.
Try vegan hot chocolate milk
Like I said I want to try more vegan/healthy things and it is getting colder and colder. And the thing is that I love hot chocolate when it is cold and rainy outside. So I think I am going to try vegan chocolate milk, just to see if I will like it or not.
Spend more time offline
I want to spend more offline because I want to read more books and do other things. I can watch one episode or movie once a day. But that is it. And I only want to use my laptop if I have to write a new blog post or edit a new YouTube video.
Redecorate for autumn
A while ago I was making a video in front of my bed (the (lightning was great) and I realized I want to make my bed cozier. I love reading in bed so I want to make the most of it. And I also want to decorate a couple of other things. I want more green (read: more plants) in my house.
Try something new with pumpkin
It is really weird that I’ve never tried anything with pumpkin yet? Well, I ate a pumpkin/carrot burger a while ago. But I still have no idea how pumpkin really tastes like. So I think I want to try a pumpkin soup and see if I will like it.
Finish Diamond painting
I didn’t finish my diamond painting in summer but since I am spending more time inside and more offline, I should have enough time for this. I really want to finish it now. It’s been almost a year since I started it.
Go thrift shopping
The last time I went thrift shopping was ages ago. I can’t remember. I just want to look around. I don’t really need anything but it is just fun to look around.
Keep a gratitude journal
Focus on the positive side of life and you will see more positive things happening in your life. The law of attractions says ‘like attracts like’ so I better focus on the good things right? At the end of the day, I just want to write down the things I am grateful for.
Buy new clothes for autumn/winter
Summer is over and I have to wear more warm clothes now. The thing is that some items have holes (not sure how that happen?) and I don’t want to walk around in those items anymore. I think maybe those items are super old, some items for more than 10 years. So I definitely need new items. But the thing is, I am too scared to go shopping at Primark or H&M right now because of the corona. So maybe I will order a few things online, not sure yet.
