My goals for December 2019

My goals for December 2019

It’s already the last month of the year! Isn’t it crazy? December is one of my favorite months of the year. I don’t really like the cold, but I love snow. And I also love Christmas and New years eve.

This month I am also going to share my goals for December 2019 with you. But this month it is going to be a little bit different. Because it is the last month of the year and decade and I want to start 2020 fresh. So this month is more like a to-do list rather than a list of goals.

If you prefer to watch the video, you can find the video at the bottom of this blog post.

My goals for December 2019

Clean up the email inbox

Last week, I realized my email inbox is a mess, but really. I have tons of new unread emails. I really have to delete those emails and unsubscribe to newsletters. So I can start with an empty inbox in 2020. Which always gives me a great feeling. Not a very big task, but I still want to do it.

Clean up house

And throwing away everything I don’t need anymore or donate them if someone else still can use or wear it. I already stopped buying the things I don’t need anymore, but I still have a couple of things that I don’t use anymore. I will donate those things.

This also gives me a great feeling and it also feels like I am starting over in 2020. New year, new me right?

Start with bullet journal

Recently, I bought a bullet journal and I am so excited to start with it. I have to buy an eraser and a good pencil before I can start, so I am going to do that very soon. Probably next weekend already. I don’t have to fill up my whole bullet journal. But I want to make the yearly things first, like a mood tracker and the front page. And make a start with January of course!!

I will make a video and/or blog post about it very soon!

Christmas dinner

I have to plan my Christmas dinner. And I still don’t know if I really have to work around Christmas time, so I have to plan ahead. And I also don’t want to buy the things last-minute, because I want to be sure that I can buy everyone off my list. And second of all, everyone else is buying their Christmas things last-minute and I don’t want to wait too long at the supermarket.

Of course, we still have to buy fresh things like veggies last-minute. But we can already buy other things, like snacks.

Christmas markets

If you say Christmas, you say Christmas markets. Next week, there is one in our town. The last time I was there it was pretty boring, so I am not so sure if I will go to that one.
But a week later, there is another one not too far away. You can ice skate and eat the best winter foods. That sounds very lovely. And I also want to go because that town has more bookstores than we have here. So I am going to check that out as well. Maybe I will find new books too.

I kind of want to read something during the holidays, since I probably have a couple of days off.

Blog, YouTube and Instagram

I am going to improve my blog, YouTube channel and my Instagram in 2020. Which means I already have to prepare everything, like writing new content, looking for new ideas for my YouTube videos and taking new photos for Instagram.

I really can’t wait to share my new ideas with you and take my platforms to the next level. I promise you, it is going to be amazing. And I am so excited about it. I am definitely going to be more active online.

Have fun

And last but not least, is that I have to have fun. December is always so busy and everyone is stressing about everything. I want to be productive this month, but I also want to have fun. So I am going to take some time for myself, watch a Christmas movie, read a book and go out for a walk.

Sometimes we are trying to make Christmas perfect. But it is never going to be perfect. And I think it is more important, just to enjoy and have fun. That is so much more important than a perfect Christmas dinner.

These are my goals for December 2019. What are your plans for this month?
