Review
I had a whole evening and Sunday for myself and I decided to look on Netflix to see what movies and series were new. There were a couple of things I wanted to see actually. I wanted to see the Naomi Osaka mini-series, A second chance rivals, The last letter from your lover and this movie called ‘A perfect fit’ which takes place in Bali.
The beginning was not so great, to be honest. I am not a movie expert, but it felt like the transition between the scenes were not so smooth. It felt off and weird. That made it harder to follow this movie. It was a bit confusing. For example, there was this scene of Saski and Rio on the beach. Out of nowhere, there was this short clip of two men looking at them. It was so weird. Later they introduced those men in the movie and it all became clear. But at that moment that part of the movie was so random and weird.
But I have to say that the movie got better towards the end. I am happy that I decided to watch it till the end. This is one of those cheesy romantic movies that I like to watch sometimes. No, it is definitely not award-winning. But the story was kind of cute. Except for Deni. He is Saski’s fiance and he is really abusive. Saski was in a toxic relationship but she thought she had to marry him because he is rich and all. I really hated this character, which means the actor played his role very well and believable.
You would think Saski or Rio would be my favourite character, but to be honest Saski’s friend Andra was the most likeable character for me. She has great energy and was glowing. She really stood out for me.
You will like this movie too when you like those cheesy romantic movies too (like the Hallmark movies). Most of the time, the romantic Netflix original movies are very similar to Hallmark movies when it comes to cheesiness and quality. But if you are like me and you don’t mind watching those kinds of movies, then this might be another movie you will like.
