To all the boys I’ve loved bore

Lara Jean has this habit of writing letters to boys she has a crush on. This is her way to say goodbye, her crush and to move on with her life. Lara Jean never sends the letters, but she is keeping them in a box in her closet. Her mother, who passed away a few years ago, gave her the box. One day Peter Kavinsky is coming to her and he is holding his letter. How did he get the letter? Peter was one of her crushes ages ago. But quickly she finds out that every guy she had a crush on got his letter. Who found her letters and has sent them to the boys?

Maybe you have watched the Netflix movie ‘To All the boys I’ve loved before.’ That movie is based on this book. I also watched the movie but I also realised how much I had forgotten about this series. I read the books years ago when they just came out. But I couldn’t remember a thing except for peter Kavinsky. So it was time to reread them. I mostly wanted to reread them because the second movie is coming out next year in February. I prefer reading the books before I watch the movie.

But these books are awesome. These are the kind of books that you read in one day/evening. They are not too big, just perfect for a day at the beach or on a rainy day. Of course there are a few differences between the movie and the book. I didn’t like Margot and Josh in the books, but I do like them in the movies. Especially Margot is pretty mean and bitchy. But she is so much nicer in the movie. Everyone is a lot nicer in the movie, well except for Genevieve of course. She is the ex-girlfriend of Peter and she doesn’t like that Peter is hanging out with another girl. Even thought she doesn’t know that Peter just want to make her jealous.

I  really like the writing styl of Jenny Han. It is so easy to read, which I love. After reading these books I definitely want to read the other series by Jenny Han, called ‘The Summer I turned Pretty.’
