The last couple of days I’ve been working on a new project for my blog. I was kind of inspired by the book ‘The Happiness Project‘ by Gretchen Rubin, A Dutch Youtuber and just daily life. I started to think: do I have everything I want? Is there something I would like to change. The answer was ‘yes’.
In this new project, I will share my stories and related articles during my search on how to become happier. Of course, everyone is different, but at least I hope I can inspire you to start your best life. Before I started, I made a poll on Twitter and asked my followers if they were happy. You can see the result below and sometimes it can feel like you are the only one who isn’t happy. But according to this poll I made, only 31% is really happy. Of course, you don’t have to feel awesome every single second of the day, but wouldn’t it be nice to feel a little bit happier in general?
The Happiness Project
I divided this project into 5 categories:
– Personal development
– Health and Fitness
– Spiritual Development
– Social life and Relationships
Self-growth is one of the most important things in life. If you don’t grow, you stop living. This is the most important part of this project. And personal development can be anything. Learn or try something new. But I also want to improve my focus and my self-esteem.

Health & Fitness
A healthy body means a healthy mind. That is always what they say. You can find a lot of articles talking about how good exercising is for your health. And by exercising they don’t mean you have to spend hours in the gym every day. Walking improves your mental health too. I also want to add a little bit of yoga.
At the moment I work a lot from home behind a desk, all day long. And in the evening I read a book or watch a movie. And I want to be more active.

Years ago I thought that spiritual things were weird and stupid. Now a few years later I love to meditate and to visualize. But I want to do this daily and not just twice a month.
I also want to take more courses to improve my mental health and learn more about the Law of Attraction. I am currently following this course ‘Alignment is the new hustle‘ by Jennifer. I will talk about this more in the future and share my opinion and experiences about this course.

Of course, I am going to talk about work related stuff during this project. A lot of people work from 9-5 from Monday – Friday, so our work life is a big part of our life. But I am also going to talk about being your own boss and how to stay disciplined.

Social life and relationship
Short story: during my burn-out and because of my anxiety I lost a lot of ‘friends’. Not calling them my real friends, because my real friends stayed during those hard times. But now I am ready to make new friends and it is going to be interesting because I am very introverted. And I also might start dating again(?).
