About Pretty Woman
Because of his extreme wealth and good looks, Edward Lewis could have any woman he wants. Vivian works as a hooker in Los Angelos. In Beverly Hills, Edward meets Vivian when he asks her the way to his hotel. Edward needs a woman that he can take to an important business dinner. Because he and Philip work toward taking over the company owned by the increasingly insolvent James Morse. Edwards decides to hire Vivian for the rest of the week, because he wants a professional, but without any commitments.
I love old(er) movies and this month there is a vintage month on a Dutch tv channel. Pretty Woman was one of the movies. I love this story so much. The chemistry between Edward (Richard) and Vivian (Julia) is perfect. But it is more than about Edward hiring Vivian as his escort. They save each other. Vivian realized she does not want to be a hooker for the rest of her life and wants to go back to college. Edward realized that he wanted to do more. Not just selling buildings.
They needed each other to realize that. And even though this is about a hooker, it is a pretty decent movie.
I also love the music in this movie, they used the right kind of music for every single scene.
