About An offer you can’t refuse

Lola has no intention of accepting when her boyfriend Dougie’s snobbish mother offers her £10,000 to break up with him. Then she discovers a secret that makes her think again. Dougie would probably have broken up with her in the long run, and this way she can help one of the people she loves most in the world. Ten years later, though, when Lola meets Dougie again, her feelings for him are as strong as ever. But she broke Dougie’s heart and he’s about to discover that she was paid to do it. She can never tell him the truth, so can she get him back? Well, Lola’s very attractive and very persuasive. But even she’s got her work cut out this time

I am a big fan of Jill Mansell her books. When I saw that her books were on sale for 3 books for the price of 2, well that was for me an offer I could not refuse (wink, wink).  Jill Mansell her books are the perfect books for a day at the beach. They are very easy to read, funny and romantic.
This book was probably the funniest book by Jill Mansell I have ever read. I laughed so hard while reading this one. Lola was absolutely my favourite one in this book, she was so funny. Even though she was a little bit too much persuasive. Doug told her several times that he did not want her back (okay, he was lying) and still Lola did not want to give up. Eventually, she does, thank god.
And don’t forget about her neighbour who has to live with Sally. She is messy and he does not like that. But he also gets jealous when Sally makes out with someone else.
