About New Year’s Eve

Do you remember the movie Valentines day? That movie was so popular that a year later they have made another movie like that one. That was New Year’s Eve. In both movies, it is not just about one or two characters but about many different storylines. This time it was about how they spent their new years eve. Elise (Lea Michele) has to perform on Times Square that night. Hailey (Abigail Breslin) is looking forward to kiss her crush Seth (Jake T. Austin). Most of the storylines are about love just like in the Valentine’s Day movie

Review

There were so many storylines that it can be hard to remember who is who and what they do. I think in Valentine’s day everyone was somehow related to each other. That was not the case in this movie, not that I know of at least.
But I have one favourite storyline and that was the storyline about Paul (Zac Efron) and Ingrid (Michelle Pfeiffer). Ingrid is stuck at her boring job and she is making a list of new resolutions. Well, it is more a bucket list. When Paul meets her on her work, he encourages her to take action. And she does. The first thing she did is quitting her job. Ingrid never does exciting things and she thinks her life is pretty boring. But Paul is helping her with her list and during the day their relationship develops. At first, Paul is doing it to get those tickets for an awesome party, but he really brings the best out of Ingrid.

Another story that I really liked was about Sam (Josh Duhamel) and Kim (Sarah Jessica Parker). They met a year ago at a party and she wrote on a napkin: If you still think of me in a year, meet me there at 12 again.
At first, they both aren’t sure if they want to go back to that place. They saw each other for a couple of minutes last year, but was it love on first sight? I mean, I think this was really romantic. Sam was really a player and had a lot of girls. But then he found the ONE.
