It is already September. And that means that autumn is around the corner, which is my favorite season. I really can’t wait to get cozy and bake things. Anyway, in this blog, I want to share my September 2020 goals with you.
And for me, September is all going to be about going back to the basics. Basically that means I am going to focus on my mental health and taking care of my body. Lately, I’ve had a couple of days I was feeling stressed and just not in a great mood. Life is really going up and down at the moment.
This month’s goals are pretty simple because it all has to do with going back to the basics. And it is okay if I don’t meet my monthly goals.
My top 3 goals this month
Meditation is something amazing that I definitely want to do more often. The thing is I don’t really have the patience for it anymore. Probably because I spent too much time on my phone. But this month I want to start meditating more often. I kind of want to start meditating every single day. I definitely have the time for it. But it is okay if I don’t do it every single day. I don’t want to feel the pressure. It has to feel good. That is all meditation is about. And hopefully, I feel more relaxed and happier at the end of the month.
Move my body
When I move my body, I feel great. Because when you start moving your body, your brain releases endorphins, which are feel-good chemicals. And I don’t want to go to the gym because that is just not my thing. I am already pretty active at my job. But I just want to add a little more exercise in the morning. I just want to turn on the music and start dancing.
Start writing in my gratitude journal again
The law of attraction is about like attracts like. So if you are focused on the good things, you will attract more of those good things. So to train my brain to see the good things in life, I have a gratitude journal. At the end of the day, I want to write down the things I am grateful for that day.
And I also have two smaller and less specific goals. But these things are still things I want to accomplish this month.
I love baking, but I don’t bake a lot of things anymore. But it brings me so much joy. I love baking things, waiting until it gets ready while your house smells amazing, and then eating and sharing it with others. I think I want to make something with Oreo or brownies. I am definitely going to share the end result somewhere on my social media platforms.
Find out what brings me joy
Everyone should do things that bring them joy. I mean, life is all about having fun right? You only live once and that kind of stuff. So this month I am going to figure out what brings me joy. And then I will continue doing those things. And if something does not bring me joy, I will stop doing it.
And I also have a couple of other things I want to do in September, I want to buy new clothes for autumn and winter
