We are already in April. Time flies even during the ‘intelligent lockdown’ here in the Netherlands. I asked myself if I still wanted to set goals for this month because everything is different. Normally I would pick goals like ‘go to the cinema with friends’ or ‘go for a picnic’ but all of that is not possible right now. So I had to look in a different direction if I wanted to set goals for this month. But eventually, I found my goals for April 2020.
Read five books
I know that ‘reading more’ is my goal every single month and somehow Netflix knows how to get my attention every day. And at the end of the month, I always regret that I watched too much Netflix. Even though reading before bedtime will help me to sleep better.
This month I really want to make more time for reading. I want to read before bed and I also want to sit in the garden with a book every now and then. Five books are not too much. It means I have around 6 days for every single book.
Currently, I am reading two books: ‘Eeny meeny’ by M.J. Arlidge and I am also reading a non-fiction book called ‘You are a badass at making money’ by Jen Sincero. I almost finished those two books which means that I only have to read 3 other books.
Improve my blog
From today on, I am going to focus on my two blogs. This one and my Dutch blog. I mean, I can’t go anywhere except for work. That means I have more time on my hands and if I work efficiently and stop wasting time I can really improve my blog. A while ago my DA score was 16 or something like that. And two weeks ago it was suddenly 9 and now it is 10. So I am already improving my blog again. But I know I can do better. I am focusing on creating content every single day and improving my blog.
Things I want to do for my blog:
– Add photo’s on my older blog posts
– Internal linking
– Create pins (Pinterest) for my blog posts
In the last couple of weeks, I ate a lot of junk food. And I really want to get back on the healthy track. I bought a lot of fruit for this week. This is going to be a challenge because of easter and other coming holidays/birthdays. But I know I can do this. And I think I will still allow myself to eat ice cream or something else but smaller portions.
