Little mix’s new music video is all about body positivity

YES!! I was already waiting for it. I was waiting for someone who would write a song about body positivity.
And yes I love it. I wasn’t sure about the beat of the song first, but eventually, it was fine. But the lyrics and the music video itself were on point.

“Take off all my make-up ’cause I love what’s under it”

Yes! I understand that using make-up is for some of us a form of art. And I think that is amazing. But I remember when I was younger (a teenager) and I was so insecure about my skin.
I started to wear makeup just to feel pretty. I know that I am/was not the only girl who is feeling like this.
I stopped wearing a couple of years ago and to be honest I feel so much better without it. My skin is not perfect every single day. But nobody is. And to be honest. I love seeing girls without (too much) make-up.

“If you got little boobs, love it, love it, love it, love it, love it
If you got a big ass, grab it, grab it grab it, grab it, grab it”

Also another part of the lyrics that I love. I have smaller boobs and I felt insecure about it (I still am, sometimes).
You hear about girls buying bigger boobs. You almost see everywhere that big boobs are beautiful. And when you have smaller boobs, they say you look like a man. But fuck them! Fuck society/media! Every size is beautiful. It is a part of YOUR body, love it. Be proud of them.

“Baby, I’m growing, my stretch-marks are sexy”

I think almost everyone has stretch-marks and it is completely fine. Why are we saying a woman is ugly with stretch-marks. It is completely normal to have them. You can get them if grow rapidly or when you gain weight. It’s fine. Instead of calling them stretch-marks, I call them tigerstripes.

What do you think of this music video?
