About Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

In a brand new Jumanji adventure, four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji – you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves – or they’ll be stuck in the game forever, to be played by others without break.  (Sony Pictures)

I never watched the first movie from 1995. And I had never watched a movie with ‘The Rock’ in it and still, I decided this movie, when it was on television. So I had absolutely no expectations because I had no idea what the movie was about. But do you know what? It did not let me down. It was so funny. Okay maybe, I could have expected that it was going to be funny because Jack Black movies are always fun. I laughed so hard when Bethany became a man in this real-life game. Everyone became somebody else who was completely different from their real lives. Martha, the shy girl, became the sexy cool girl. Spencer, the nerd, became the cool dude. Bethany, a beautiful and superficial girl, became a man. And Fridge became someone who was fast and strong.

Gosh, I did not expect Nick Jonas in this movie too. He had only one life left and he did not want to die in this game. He was too scared to continue this game on his own. But thank god, Spencer, Fridge, Bethany and Martha helped him and brought him back to the real world. Absolutely a must-see.
