Addie is trying to fix everything so Sam can actually live without her, she teaches him how to use the washing machine and how to cook. She also wants him to date and she is trying to fix a date for him.
It was a long time ago that I’ve watched a movie with Michiel Huisman. He has been an actor for ages now and I only saw his Dutch movies, when he was a lot younger. When I saw this trailer on netflix, I didn’t realize it was with Michiel. But I knew I had to watch it. I had big expectations.
And now I can tell you the movie didn’t let me down at all. It was a touching and beautiful movie. The acting was brilliant. Loved the ending. And I like how it is not just about Addie and Sam relationship, but also about Addie and Myron.
At first I didn’t like the beginning of the movie. They showed that she is going to die and you already know that it is not going to be a happy ending story. But later I found out that it wasn’t about the fact she was going to die, but it was about the message in this movie: Just because you are dying, doesn’t mean your life stops. A beautiful message and it is so true.
