About Good Sam
Kate is taking a lot of risk during her work as a news reporter and her boss is not very happy with that. Her next assignment is a lot easier and less dangerous. Apparently someone in New York is giving a lot of money to people. Kate decides to dig deeper and she is trying to find out who is giving 100.000 dollars to people
This movie came out on May 16th this year and I had no idea. I recently saw someone writing about this movie and I wanted to check it out. This movie only gets a 5.6 on IMDB.
Do I agree with them? Yes and no. Yes because we all have seen movies like these. It is pretty predictable and it kind of reminded me of an average Hallmark movie. But in my opinion, this movie is also better than the average Hallmark movie. The acting is better and I really liked the diverse cast. It is just a regular feel-good movie.
But I have to admit that I was wrong about who the real good Sam was, but halfway through the movie I really knew who it was and how this would end. But nevertheless is just a pretty good movie when you just want to watch a feel-good/ romantic movie alone or with your friends. The message in this movie (be nice to others) is just very uplifting. It made me want to do something nice for someone else without expecting something in return.
Overall, I liked the storyline, uplifting message and the actors. I am kind of hoping that Netflix will make more movies like this in the future. I think their movies are finally getting better and better. Those romantic movies are just predictable because romantic movies are uplifting and have a happy ending. So you’ll know that they will end up with each other before the movie has started.
