Ghostbusters | Movie review (2016)

About Ghostbusters

Paranormal researcher Abby Yates and physicist Erin Gilbert are trying to prove that ghosts exist in modern society. When strange apparitions appear in Manhattan, Gilbert and Yates turn to engineer Jillian Holtzmann for help. Also joining the team is Patty Tolan, a lifelong New Yorker who knows the city inside and out. Armed with proton packs and plenty of attitudes, the four women (the Ghostbusters) prepare for an epic battle as more than 1,000 mischievous ghouls descend on Times Square.

I remember that I really wanted to see this at the cinema. Just because Melissa McCarthy is in this movie. I am a huge fan of her and her movies. She is so funny. And she is also my favourite Ghostbuster in this movie. But can I say how annoying Kevin (Chris Hemsworth) was? And honestly, I was expecting way more than just this.  I haven’t seen the original, but I heard really good stories about that one. So apparently this is just a bad rip-off. And what’s up with the slime guys? Not very realistic that ghosts throw up a lot of slimes. So this was a disappointment. Maybe I should watch the original movie later.
