About Five feet apart
In Five feet apart Stella meets Will in the hospital. They both have CF (cystic fibrosis) and Stella has to spend a lot of time in the hospital. Her life is full of routines, boundaries and self-control. But then she meets Will, who is the opposite of Stella. He has the same disease, but he is taking it less serious. Stella convinces him to take his medicines together. There is an instant flirtation, but they have to keep distant. There is one rule: There must be 6 feet distance between two patients who both have CF. But Stella is ready to break the rule for him.
Okay, I wanted to read the book first. But I didn’t eventually. Recently I had the last chance to watch it in the cinemas, so I had to make a choice. Do I still read the book first and hope this movie will come to Netflix or do I see the movie first in the cinema. I decided to watch the movie first. I was kind of suprised it was already the last chance to watch this movie. This movie just came out in June here in the Netherlands. Apparently not a popular movie to see here in the Netherlands. And to be honest I don’t see why.
One of my first thoughts was that Poe is that guy from Hannah Montana. I was kind of fangirling. And of course we all know Cole Sprouse from Suite life of Zack and Cody and of course Riverdale. And apparently had a role in Hannah Montana too.
Before I watched this movie, I already knew that it was going to be a sad story. And it was. Did I cry? Not exactly, but almost! But overal I just think it was a kind of fun and beautiful love story. And not every love story has a happy ending. And this movie is a good example of that! But that is refreshing! All those movies about love always have a happy ending and you always know how it will end. This one is less predictable.
