About undertaking love

Marla Jacobs has a successful business; The little White wedding chapel is a big success. A lot of people are coming to her chapel in Buckleberry to get married. And she is also very excited about the new cupcake business next to her own business. Well, at least that is what she thought. Because on the first day of rebuilding she finds out that it will be a funeral parlour instead. She declares war on the owner: Gabriel Ryan. Too bad that he is a pretty good looking man.

Review

Just by reading one chapter you will already know how this will end. But does that make a book boring? Not always, not in this case. So many things are happening (not too many); Marla gets a boyfriend Rupert, Melanie, Marla’s dog and Dora.
Funny thing about Marla is that she does not believe in true love and marriage. Even though she owns a wedding chapel. Marla has two parents who remarried a lot of times and that is why she never wants to get too serious in a relationship. But during this story, she develops as a person and she finds out that you can really love one person. Just because her parents are unlucky in their relationships does not mean that the same applies to her too. It is not genetic.

And I can see why Marla (and everyone else) is attracted to Gabe. He is handsome, he is nice and he is Irish. God, I love that Irish accent too! Hard to understand for me as a Dutch person, but so attractive.
But I think this story not something for you if you don’t like to read the details of the sex they are having in this book. It is not a lot, but it is very detailed.

Also, I can’t believe that this was already my third read of 2019! I am on track this year! And I also have decided to put the Book Depository link to the book, so if you are interested in the book you can immediately buy it. This not sponsored or an affiliate program, I just wanted to make it easier for you.
